mfc-l2700dw bROTHER pRINTER

This driver has no ppd from Brother. I have a packaged .deb make of the install tool. I had it working on Arch but cannot get it running on Arch or Artix (runit). The driver provided on the AUR alone does not work. either. BTW this DOES work on Manjaro and ArcoLinux. Please excuse me if this is not the proper forum. Any help is appreciated. Main error comes back, "Printer not connected." This printer is on my router network as wifi.

As suggested here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/CUPS/Printer-specific_problems#Brother refer to the comments section in the support page for that AUR package's support page.

According to its PKGBUILD, it seems that package depends on lib32-glibc, for which you need to enable the repository "lib32". If that doesn't work, you might need to read the SteamAnd32bit Artix wiki article, which doesn't only apply to Steam.

As a reminder, AUR is not officially supported nor maintained by Arch nor Artix and you should look at individual package's page on https://aur.archlinux.org for support.

Thanks. I will muddle through. I have enabled both repositories for 33 bit access. Thank you for your time.
