[SOLVED] Virtualbox broken with recent updates

I would like to find out if this has happened only to me or other users experience the same.

I don't have the computer I have Artix on at hand. So no paritcular versions for now.

I remember that I applied some updates the day before yesterday which contained updates to virtualbox and kernel.

After rebooting I noticed strange behavior in all virtual machines. Windows in guests closed by themselves after some time (i.e. internet browsers). I noticed some wlan disconnections in host that hadn't happened before. Don't know if it's related. Maybe the kernel's issue.

Yesterday I applied another update to virtualbox hoping it would solve the problem.
But things would get worse. Now none of virtual machines even start with an error that reports (as far as I remember) the following words (not entire message, just some key words; I haven't recorded the whole message):

failed to load R0 module
ns_error_failure

Downgrade your kernel to 5.17 and see if it then works

Was sure this was fixed though with recent update.  Are you using dkms?

cat herders of linux,

Thank you! No dkms.

The fix came with the update of virtualbox-host-modules-artix.

Now it works as it should!
