kernel 5.18.8, nvidia and steam 02 July 2022, 20:02:24 Hi,Today i upgraded the linux package to 5.18.8, and the nvidia driver from 515.48.07 to 515.57-2After reboot, every thing was fine... except steam wouldn't start anymore.I looked in the logs and found this eveytiome i launch it :Quotekernel: NVRM: API mismatch: the client has the version 515.48.07, but\x0aNVRM: this kernel module has the version 515.57. Please\x0aNVRM: make sure that this kernel module and all NVIDIA driver\x0aNVRM: components have the same version.only solution: downgrade linux kernel to 5.18.6 and nvidia to 515.48.07.now steam starts normally.Any idea what is the problem and how to fix it ?Thanks
Re: kernel 5.18.8, nvidia and steam Reply #1 – 02 July 2022, 20:07:54 i think i found why nvidia-utils is at version 515.57-1 but the lib32-nvidia-utils is still at 515.48.07-1i guess i'll wait for the upgrade 1 Likes
