Re: SDDM fails to start when booting, shows up after manual restart Reply #15 – 27 July 2022, 11:55:42 Quote from: l3u – on 26 July 2022, 11:12:05I used artix-base-openrc-20220123-x86_64.isoThere's your answer: base ISOs just install and do nothing else. You had to create /etc/hostname yourself, unlike the DE ISOs.
Re: SDDM fails to start when booting, shows up after manual restart Reply #16 – 27 July 2022, 13:49:50 I actually only set it in /etc/conf.d/hostname, and forgot about /etc/hostname. I didn't think this would have such an impact though ;-)But apart from this, I found a fix for the problem that SDDM does not respect my locale on the first start, cf. https://forum.artixlinux.org/index.php/topic,4343.msg28047.html#msg28047 . And this one is not due to a missing config file.Maybe, the sddm-openrc maintainer wants to fix this.
