[REQUEST] MIDI Data Importer for FOSS Video Editors 17 August 2022, 22:28:23 I want a script or something that is like the om_midi.jsx for After Effects, but instead for Kdenlive and other Linux FOSS video editors if possible. Here is a video of the om_midi.jsx script. I would try to make YTPMVs if something like this existed for Linux, because I think YTPMVs are cool.
Re: [REQUEST] MIDI Data Importer for FOSS Video Editors Reply #1 – 18 August 2022, 15:49:47 MIDI support in Linux, the audacity page below also has links to other software with MIDI support:https://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Midihttps://wiki.archlinux.org/title/MIDIThere are several other mixers similar to Audacity in the AUR, and in the Universe repo there is sneedacity, I used it recently to edit an audio file by removing a section from the middle and rejoining it, very easy. There is an online tool to turn MIDI to jsx for aftereffects:https://www.reddit.com/r/vfx/comments/cx0991/we_made_a_tool_to_export_midi_notes_to/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLgxQlNejMMAnd you can apparently do something similar to aftereffects using blender instead:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4OdosHWeqoI have not done anything involving MIDI to be able to provide personal experience I should add Last Edit: 18 August 2022, 16:07:04 by ####### 1 Likes
