fwupd support 07 October 2022, 19:11:40 currently there are no fwupd scripts in artix's repos. the archlinux package uses systemd for it. gentoo supports it with openrc. would like to see fwupd-openrc, fwupd-s6, etc become available.

Well that is great, and I'm sure people at Artix can easily add them.Just one thing to fix your own issue temporarily, you can take their openrc service file and either run it and report any issues you may find here, or look at it as an example to write a service file for your own init.
