Re: Libreoffice langauge files Reply #2 – 19 March 2023, 03:07:24 I have activate the Arch Repos Extra and universe and onmiverse. This is not the Problem. It ist the LO update.I downgraded different older LO Versions which was running before upgrade. Anyway also in downgeades versions there is no german language available. This is strange an I can not explain this to me.Here https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/LibreOfficeQuote .. LibreOffice detects your system defaults and sets as locale setting; manual installation of a language pack is no longer mandatory, required only for localized user interface.Where can I find my "system defaults"? I guess they didn't change with the last Artix update?May be LO don't "read" or find this setings?I didn't change anything in system defaults. Here is a "Translated User Interface: Deutsch" https://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/7.5.1/deb/x86_64/LibreOffice_7.5.1_Linux_x86-64_deb_langpack_de.tar.gz.mirrorlistbut this are deb packages and I dont know how to do this. Also I learned not to use foreign packages. The LO updates was:[2023-03-06T10:12:23+0100] [ALPM] upgraded libreoffice-fresh (7.5.0-1 -> 7.5.1-1)[2023-03-06T10:12:23+0100] [ALPM] upgraded libreoffice-fresh-de (7.5.0-1 -> 7.5.1-1)all was ok and in german.Next LO update, since here no german.[2023-03-18T07:51:34+0100] [ALPM] upgraded libreoffice-fresh (7.5.1-1 -> 7.5.1-1.1)But accidently I found this https://api.kde.org/frameworks/ki18n/html/ (because of the i18n the name of the LO language packs in the past)I don't understand this an don't know if there is a context, but it have to do with translations. Here LO was in German[2022-03-26T00:25:00+0100] [ALPM] upgraded ki18n (5.91.0-1 -> 5.92.0-1)And here after upgrading this ki18n no german.[2023-03-17T12:09:55+0100] [ALPM] upgraded ki18n (5.103.0-1 -> 5.104.0-1) Last Edit: 19 March 2023, 03:20:03 by Thats_me

Re: [SOLVED] Libreoffice langauge files Reply #6 – 21 March 2023, 23:38:45 I’ve noticed that some dependencies are no longer required, including liborcus. Does this restrict LibreOffice functionality?
