I'm really glad you found the solution, although I insist on thinking that I was really lucky with finding what was the cause of the audio issues. I managed to debug it until I got to the cat /proc/i8k command. After that, with the help of the Pipewire development team, we managed to find the technical reason behind why performing such command breaks the audio.
