Disc drive keeps opening 27 April 2023, 17:49:07 Hey guys, I just recently started having this happen and I'm wondering what I can do to stop it. The CD/DVD drive just opens by itself randomly like there's a ghost pressing the button. I googled some stuff but it looked to be systemd-dependent. How can I stop my disc drive from opening whenever it wants? I'd like to keep it enabled, but I'm thinking about just unhooking it since no one uses Disc's anymore.
Re: Disc drive keeps opening Reply #1 – 28 April 2023, 06:42:17 Hello,Maybe an internal fault in your DVD player?As I no longer use this reader, I disconnected it and left it in place.The day I need it, I reconnect it and take the opportunity to vacuum the inside of the case.
