How do I remove encryption?

I set encryption up on my boot drive just out of curiousity when installing Artix.  But two problems: (1) for some reason it's extra sensitive and doesn't accept my password half the time and am forced to retype it over and over (2) it takes like 60 seconds to "process" my password, not sure what it's doing but it's especially annoying if I have to reboot often when I'm having an unrelated problem.

Is there a way to remove this encryption?

Is there a way to nullify the 60 second wait?

Is there a way to change the password to something simple like "1"?  (I'm not concerned at all with security in this context, as the encrypted drive just contains Artix.  I mean, even if I had something incriminating in /home, all that's encrypted are things like /usr/ and /bin.)

I'm afraid that only reinstallation without encryption.
