lightdm login twice problem

Its not terrible, but its the only annoyance i havent found away to fix with artix over this install.

Everytime i go to login, this includes different DE's like cinnamon, gnome and xfce. I have to enter my login twice, the first login, the screen looks like its logging in, then sends me back to login again. after i login again, it does so fine if i didnt select cinnamon twice. if i select something else like gnome or xfce, then on the second login i can select cinnamon again. Really odd, anybody have any ideas id really appreciate it!

Unfortunately that's not a lot of information to work with, is there anything suspicious in the lightdm or xorg logs? There might also be a file ~/.xsession-errors that could provide some useful hints.

This might seem random, but make sure you have a hostname set for the PC too.

just looked through didnt see anything related to lightdm.

ill try some different display managers. Maybe ill work it out. =)
