imo they probably got caught due to using tor aggressively. I would even pick a corporate/school spy network than use tor. Never use it no matter what, if i2p is blocked then just use proxies.

Now i know and agree that this sets a double edged political precedent: France is known for using libre software in the public sector but they might just screw up the citizens using it for the same reason.

No, it's just that it's one of those stupid things that scream out loud, i'd also add the majority of consumer vpn's to this list, apart from when your average joe wants to look at region locked videos that is :-)
