armtix packages started appearing and a cautionary tale

A big thanks to phoenix_king_rus as after a long while new pkgs started to appear for my runit armtix rpi4.

Unfortunately for some reason I had pinned glibc, but not bash which had it as a dependency. Many of the 342 updates depended on having a running bash as did some of the post install hooks.

The sd card would not boot  :(

I was able to fsck & mount the sd card's partitions. Then fix up the /bin/init to point to runit-init, for some reason it defaults to openrc-init. Then download latest glibc package from https://repo.armtixlinux.org/system/os/aarch64/ and handomatically install the files into the sd card's root partition.

After this the sd card would boot and start slim/xorg/openbox etc etc. Hooray.

I guess at some point I will have to reinstall all of the updated packages.
