[SOLVED] tty1 xorg cannot connect after latest update 02 January 2024, 22:20:04 Hello!Yesterday, I did `pacman -Syu`, downloaded a bunch of packages, then rebooted the pc.On reboot, I cannot login to tty1 which has xorgNormally, once I fill user/password and press <Enter>, it dumps some text then screen goes black and then i see my wallpaper. Re: tty1 xorg cannot connect after latest update Reply #1 – 03 January 2024, 03:15:05 Probably you need to downgrade the "mesa" package to the old one in the cache, or if you can still connect to the net from a tty, upgrade to the newer mesa which is in the repos now and works correctly. There was a problem with that version of mesa for some intel graphics, there have been other threads on the forum about this if you want to know more.
