One Update Was Too Quick and Broke Systemv + Files to Test On.

UPDATE:
downgrading libjx does not help
downgrading imglib2 does not help
 >:(

UPDATE 2:
Installing newer version of kimageformats (not yet in Artix) from 7 days ago from arch fixed the issue. THE VERSION OF KIMAGEFORMATS IN ARTIX IS BROKEN: NEED TO BE kimageformats5 5.114.0-2 (kf5).  Artix is a week behind Arch and some packages are broken then...
-----------------
So, I updated Artix KDE on 19.01 and rebooted (kernel updates). And long behold my login screen is totally white and someone changed my wallpaper*. WTF?!

Well, my wallpaper was only ~80 KiB fast loading JXL photo. And the libjxl was updated. (downgrading did not solve the issue). But not whole KDE (Arch got updated whole KDE [qt5] on 19.01) including kimageformats (?). So I suspect that this libjxl broke the system. And not only that: Dolphin and Gwenview is affected, just like the login/lock/SDDM. No thumbs neither in Dolphin nor in Gwenview. Can't view the photos either.

Would be nice to see if new (19.01.2024) KDE has support for JXL. And yes. I will annoy google and put jxl photos on my website**. Google will not dictated how web should look like and what is a "standard" and what is not. And theora videos too :).***

So I expect the KDE update very soon. If its a bug, I need to file a bug report to bugs.kde.org.

P.S. Where is the link that displays the list of state (synced and unsynced) mirrors? Could you point me to it?

* to some jerky/very low res jpg ridiculous compression artifacts (that "photo" with a mountain - who on earth in KDE put it there to be included. Its just like a bad JPG compression nightmare...sorry, but what are they? RETARDS? And I checked it. Its a PNG made from JPEG. Just zoom at it. Its in: '/usr/share/wallpapers/Next/contents/images/'. What the hell.)

** by default cjxl compresses jpg to lossless jxl. So no quality loss. If you have PNG, painstakingly made from a RAW do this:
$ for F in *.jpg; do cjxl -d 1 -e 9 $F `basename $F .jpg`.jxl;done
That will teach google, and those chom* supporters who use it!

***$ ffmpeg2theora GoogleSux.mp4 -v 10 -x 1920 -y 1080 --two-pass -V 5000 --optimize  --speedlevel 1 --pp hb -P 1.1 --vorbis-index-reserve 317 -a 6 --title GoogleSux --artist Freedom_Not_Dictatorship -o GoogleSux.ogv

P.S Its not the first time that in Artix there's some problem with photos and kimageformats. So in order to avoid the future issues (does not happen in Arch) I created bunch of test files to click on and see if they are opened in gwenview and thumbs are missing in Dolphin. Together they weigh only 3.8 MiB. 19 files for tesing Artix:
