Ignore Pkg 19 January 2019, 15:11:10 Im contemplating putting linux kernel upgrades into /etc/pacman.conf under ignore.Just wanted to ask whether this would be an good idea or not? Probably not from a security standpoint but my computer is nearly ten years old, i really doubt kernel upgrades are going to be necessary unless there is something like spectre vulnerabilities again or worse. I cant justify the bandwidth lately, every few days is a new kernel update and at around 70 MB it seems like a waste if i dont really need it?
Re: Ignore Pkg Reply #1 – 19 January 2019, 17:39:29 Why not just switch to the lts kernel in that case?
