Spectrwm bar issue

I have installed Artix runit on my old laptop and system boots and runs ok. On loading Spectrwm window manager I get a number of issues with bar. One of which is it cannot find dmenu_run even though dmenu (and dmenu_run) are installed and present on system.

Do I need to add my user to certain groups for WMs to work correctly?

Or maybe something in Xorg?

I use XFCE
I use these packages:
pacman -S pavucontrol pulseaudio xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin pulseaudio-alsa pulseaudio-zeroconf
