May need to force it to redownload them maybe, rm-rf /mnt/var/cache/pacman/pkg/*

Sorry again, I dont know why it wanted to remove all those packages; expected it to only do the one :\

If a file says .part it's usually only partly downloaded.

error: could not open file /mnt/var/cache/pacman/pkg/zlib-1:1.2.11-4-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz.part: Invalid argument
Perhaps the error is it's trying to download the package file to that location but cannot for some reason.

please use another mirror for archlinux and/or artix and try update again with 'pacman -Syyu'.  Recommende clean your cache /mnt/var/cache/pacman/pkg/
