Have to manually select correct EFI bootloaders with livecd

I just installed a separate install to a separate HDD to my main install using the Calamares installer. Now my original install isn't detected at boot, though I can still boot into it if I use a livecd and try to detect efi bootloaders. I also noticed that for some reason if I try to do grub-mkconfig I get this error "insmod: ERROR: could not load module part_gpt: No such file or directory". Any pointers? Install I'm trying to fix has LUKS and LVM, UEFI obviously.
