Status bar configuration

Hi everyone,

I am currently using dwm with joestranding's dwm-bar as my status bar, but I am a bit unsatisfied about the look of the field separators. I saw online some images of status bars with "arrow-shaped" coloured fields (see the image), and I would love to emulate them. Do anyone have some ideas on how to do it? Is it possible within dwm, or do I have do migrate to another status bar? Sadly I don't know the actual build of the OS portrayed in the picture. May anyone give me a hint? :)
