Issues With Sound Clipping

I had issues getting audio to work at all a while back.  I did finally get it working, but now I have had issues with sound clipping often.  I know the issue is with the sound levels, but I'm not sure how to fix it.  If I have youtube set to 50%, my speakers at 50% and my system tray volume at 50% I can hear clear audio most time, but if any one of them is set to 75% I start getting clipping issues.

Right now I have pulseaudio installed as well as pavucontrol-qt, but I do not see any issues within the pulse audio mixer.  I have tried using alsamixer and amixer, but receive the below output when trying to open them.

sof-firmware and alsa-ucm-conf  have been installed as well. 

How can I best access mixer settings to ensure the levels are low enough to turn up the volume directly on my external speakers?

So you have two audio devices running and you are using pulse audio not pipewire.

So you need to disable one device that is not in use.
