though as i look again at the rx 6400 used on pcie 3 it is rated about 20% slower than the 1650 from nividia. given that the 6400 is low profile and vcan be had for 150$ and that the 1650 4gb card is 230 is times better performance than the 2gb rx 550 i think i'll have to consider it for a low profile option. a 1650 single slot can be had i think but for over 250$. so there's the cost benefit in favor of the 6400 even on pcie 3
