Zlib 1:1.2.13-1 latest update causing mpv crash while playing youtube

Hello, I've noticed mpv started to crash when trying to play yt videos. I can still play videos in mpv but only those already downloaded. Looked for the latest packages i've installed and saw mpv depends on zlib that was updated today. I guess it interacts with mpv plugins (yt-dlp/streamlink) that allow watch videos (drag and drop links)

Thanks and would be nice if anyone can check if they also have this kind of issue.

Shouldn't be related at all.

Yep don't think it is zlib fault cos that was updated yesterday, now i have a second suspect, latest linux-hardened 5.19.16.hardened1-1.

I'll try boot into the stable kernel and see if something changes. Tnx for answer

Nope it's not linux-hardened either. After updating linux-hardened and its hardened headers and dmraid think mpv started to fail playing yt videos  :(

Other changes I didn't make.

edit: Could be the init system the cause? In my case runit?

Found the issue. I had couple of lines in dhcpcd.conf exactly the issue was nohook resolv.conf, commented out that line and now it works. When that line is enabled dhcpcd doesn't write to the resolv.conf file and perhaps new packages installed didn't like that and caused the problem (could not resolve domains)
