user problem

I failed to assign a name to my user during install and just set the password,  how do I know what's my desktop login to access my computer?

Login as root.

Create a new user https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Users_and_groups#Example_adding_a_user

If you are using a display manager (gui login) such as sddm and it doesn't allow root login then press CTRL-ALT-F2. Login as root........
the keys shows me the panel to log in. I just said I didn't know what my desktop login was, and I can't access the command line

There's no such thing as a 'desktop' login.

There are user logins and a 'root' login.

I've no idea how you managed to have no users ? You must have a root user surely ?

Try user:
root

password:
whatever you set as password.

You could chroot in and fix it all. But if that means nothing to you if it's a new install I'd be tempted to just install it again.
