tuned-adm for openrc doesnt exist

There is no documentation or any packages available for an openrc-tuned-adm, but whats also interesting is nothing about it is mentioned on the forums or on google other than 1 query that i saw.

Is tuned-adm relevant or are rt kernels more ideal? Specifically, for game servers that need reduced latency to communicate with players to reduce lag. My kernel would need to run similar to latency-performance profile, and im guessing i'd do that by precompiling the lqx, for example, with a special configuration?

"As much as necessary and as little as possible."

Well that works..the init.d script functions correctly because i can add the service to the default runlevel and start and restart it with rc-service. Great, now i dont have to install systemd on my server!

how does one mark a thread as solved or perhaps this thread should be stickied for future reference because there is no other threads available in regards to tuned / openrc scripts.
