[SOLVED] Foot terminal -- partial colors over SSH?

Hi,

I am using the Foot terminal emulator. Its $TER is "foot".

When I connect to a remote server and do `ls --color=always` the output is just black and white, but the shell prompt is always colorful.

However when I use Konsole ($TERM = xterm-256color), it works fine.

Does anyone know how to fix this, besides overwriting the $TERM envvar?

If the target system X11 based then it might not have the foot terminfo. Arch has a separate pkg for it here.
