Pulse/Alsa 09 January 2025, 18:26:20 Just come back to Artix after 6 months and I've noticed something very strange. The volume manager is no longer remembering my previous state on reboot. Search Arch wiki but nothing seems to work?? Anyone have any ideas???
Re: Pulse/Alsa Reply #1 – 09 January 2025, 18:37:52 I have run alsa + pulse recently and I needed to ensure that alsa-runit was working correctly. On one system I saw that alsa-runit was causing an error see here. Pulse is supposed to be run per user so I started it in my openbox autostart. That all seemed to work as expected, but I'm not sure it's the proper way to do this.
