new messages

I run armtix on rpi5 with the archlinuxarm kernel and bootloader so not using uboot.

After a recent update to linux 6.12.13 and some recent updates in the armtix rep I saw these new messages

Code: [Select]
[  186.279974] audit: type=1326 audit(1739531594.266:168): auid=4294967295 uid=974 gid=974 ses=4294967295 pid=3305 comm="dhcpcd" exe="/usr/bin/dhcpcd" sig=31 arch=c00000b7 syscall=135 compat=0 ip=0x7fffab05b030 code=0x0
...... many repeats

I just stopped local dhcpcd and those messages stopped. I use NetworkManager and it uses the network dhcpcd. Don't know why that server was running.

Later after  messing with wifi I saw this message a few times
Code: [Select]
[  745.662976] brcmfmac: brcmf_set_channel: set chanspec 0xd0a5 fail, reason -52

is this something related to power management?

The first one doesn't seem  to be an error. Audit seems to be one of kernel security mechanisms. I suppose, it can be disabled via kernel command line
The second one is more interesting but i'm not sure whether this error is of any relevance. Did you google it? Maybe wireless-regdb package is needed to fix it

I have regdb set up and wifi works fine. I did not see the messages after a reboot, so perhaps it's just some glitch.
