I hope all is well with Cat Herders of Linux, because his silence is worrying...

Do you think we should do anything? One of cat herders of linux's last posts was this:

We know that cat herders of linux has numerous cats including one called Jerry, is a Seventh Day Adventist, and lives in Washington DC, I don't know if anyone else can remember any more potentially identifying details.
I wondered if it would be a good idea to contact the DC housing authority and ask them to look favorably upon cat herders of linux and the cat herd's case and try to avoid making them all homeless, if they are not already, which would explain the recent silence. But not knowing the full details of the situation, there could be potential risks to interfering as well as benefits!

i still have anothe rmonth or so before my section 8 voucher expires. My apartment failed inspection so i have to leave but it will involve going to court if i cant find a place for me and the cats. Could be soon that housing authority stops payment to my landlord and complicates my life.

The landlord i have now is not the one i had when i moved in. the one i had when i moved in was ok with the cats. The new owner of the building isn't and for the past 5 years she's been a pain in the back side about making repairs because she wants the cats gone.
