How do I: Installing AUR packages

There are packages I use in the AUR.
cmst for connman
mullvad-browser-bin for browsing...
AUR is wild sometimes but there are good programs in there.

This doesn't work in Artix:

pacman -Sy yay
pacman -Sy aurman

Which AUR package tool will install AUR packages in Artix?

edit:
I don't want a gui. Yay is fine, like pacman you type in the terminal.
On Ubuntu I avoid synaptic, apt-get.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think you have to manually install your desired aur helper first, then after it's installed you can reinstall it using the helper itself so it gets included in updates (is that even necessary? I dunno I'm a noob).

So you go to https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/paru-bin

Then go to a folder (I use ~/.git/) and type "git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/paru-bin.git" then enter the directory and type "makepkg -i" or maybe "makepkg -si" might be necessary.

Or you can do it for yay from here https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/yay-bin

This is how I've been doing it but maybe this is not the most elegant way to do it.  Another way is you could enable the chaotic-aur repositories and install from there.

I have just had a great idea. Forums could have a search feature. So that someone could type 'install yay' in it and maybe find the countless times it's been explained already.
Or even wilder someone could invent some sort of I dunno ... let's call it a 'search engine' which indexes the whole of the world wide web, so you could type 'install yay' in it and easily find the answer to a very simple question as the 1st result. </s>

Seriously though OP you typed 70 words where 2 would have sufficed and got you the answer instantly.
Welcome to Artix but at least have a go at working things out for yourself. It's part of the fun.
