Hi i have this same problem, none of the offered solutions work for me, im using openrc + linux-ck-ivybridge + nvidia-dkms...

I have opened a new topic since this one is marked as solved ... linux-ck + openrc + nvidia-dkms wont start Xorg

and no, I have switched to Arch so that i can make this report, as i was stuck in a tty all day yesterday on Artix while trying to get support, on Arch it works perfectly
