[SOLVED] BUG - Missing loop.ko module in today's kernel

I updated last night and the system was fine. I updated to today's kernel/module release, and loop.ko is not in /lib/modules. I'm unable to create loopback devices.

Are you sure? I did a "modprobe loop" just fine on the latest kernel. It shows up in lsmod as expected.

Did you rebooted after upgrade? Try reinstall again.

Apologies. It's working tonight. Please mark as operator error.
Root cause = ISO mounted during upgrade.
Then I forgot Arch puts modules in /usr/lib and /lib is a symlink, so 'find /lib' without -follow returned nothing.
Too much embedded linux + Ubuntu + RHEL @ work.
