python2-gobject2 & pygobject [SOLVED]

$ sudo pacman -Su
:: Starting full system upgrade...
resolving dependencies...
looking for conflicting packages...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: pygtk: installing python2-gobject2 (2.28.7-1) breaks dependency 'pygobject'

I know this is arch but you may want to take a look at it

When pasting the output , please don't paste half of it. Please paste the full output of the log

The newest version of pygtk fixes this. So, update them (2.24.0-8)

If I can hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate!

I only see 2.24.0-7
I now see 2.24.0-8 on extra
$ pacman -S extra/pygtk
Yes it did work

I'm getting this error too..... Why am I not getting the new version of pygtk???

sudo pacman -S extra/pygtk will bring it in the mirrors are slow syncing i think and the old package take preference over arch extra.
