topic symbols

Hi,
am i just too stupid to find it or is there no explanation on the symbols in front of every topic? Could someone please help me out and link to and/or post a summary of the icons meanings? Thanks in advance

If you click 'New topic' you'll see a 'Topic icon' selector under the subject field, pretty self-explanatory.

Thanks for the hint. Did not realize that before. But to be honest, this does not give me any clue what those icons mean. The box 'just' lists the possible icons.
Background of the question: I've made a topic in the package management section. I did not choose an icon from the list you mentioned. If I take a look at the topic now, there is an exclamation mark icon in front. I did not put that there, so I figured, someone else did that to mark this topic (possibly the exclamationmakr means stupid topic as it sort of is

). So now i was wondering, what this user wanted to tell me(and all other people) with choosing this icon for this topic.
