Update broke my input

I hadn't updated in months. I did `pacman -Syu`
Update happened normally, and then this happened

The rest of the session went smoothly I did misc tasks, and closed the computer without thinking anything had gone wrong.
However, on reboot, after I login on tty1 (the classic username and password) and after that, dwm loads (I can see desktop background image, and the tabs numbered top left) and the keyboard's input is completely ignored. Any button. Keyboard definitely is not broken however, as I entered username+password on tty, and it even has light-coloring (modern keyboards) ((no light-coloring means no input can be caught eg on booting to BIOS for a few frames this can be confirmed))

I rebooted the pc, and CTRL+ALT+F2 to enter on tty2, and entered username and password.
It entered normally. And keyboard works, I can type any debug commands to figure out this problem.
Output Logs below of the 4 commands from helpFAQ
dmesg: read kernel buffer failed. Operation not permitted.
lsusb: command not found.

How to find out what is wrong on my main setup? I cannot think of anything else.

Post the output of "pacman -Q | grep xf86-input". Also, what .conf files are there in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d?

Also, what .conf files are there in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d
Only this file: 40-libinput.conf
Code: [Select]
Section "InputClass"
        Identifier "MyPreciousKeyboard"
MatchIsKeyboard "on"
Option "XkbLayout" "us,gr"
Option "XkbVariant" ","
Option "XkbOptions" "grp:alt_shift_toggle,terminate:ctrl_alt_bksp,grp_led:scroll,numpad:microsoft"

# Identifier "libinput touchpad catchall"

        # MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*"
        # Driver "libinput"
# Enable left mouse button by tapping
# Option "Tapping" "on"
EndSection
Note that I am not using a laptop nor touchpad. I have a desktop computer.

Code: [Select]
ls /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/
which files are present at above path
Edit: Share Xorg logs /var/log/Xorg.0.log

This file seems to not exist. So I tried to do
Code: [Select]
ls /var/log/
Code: [Select]
audit
old
btmp
dmesg
lastlog
pacman.log
rc.log

rename /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-libinput.conf to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-libinput.conf.bak then reboot system and test
if this does not work , last thing i could suggest to reinstall xf86-input-libinput with overwrite option
Edit: On searching , people used to face this problem on laptops
Edit: I guess you are using rootless xorg check logs at ~/.local/share/xorg/

I did this, and it sadly still does not work.

However, I think it doesn't have anything to do with the keyboard, for 2 reasons:
1. I looked top right for example in my dwm, and there used to be the time and other widgets(?), but now, it has only "dwm-6.2" at the top right corner (could even be the string continuing)
2. Pressing CTRL+ALT+Fnumber does pull up other tty where i can enter my username/pass normally.

tl;dr: the dwm broke after update, somehow :(
