i installed lxqt into a virtualbox and discovered 3 files sitting on the desktop

or more properly, links to them.  there were 3 pdf files i opened in each one in turn and then saved it to the desktop (since the originals were just links) under the same name and then copied them to my desktop and read them.

It was so amazing that i actually learned something useful.  Why would anyone provide such useful and necessary info for their linux?  boggles the mind.

Anyway, one was called configuration.pdf and another dinit.pdf and the last one troubleshooting.pdf.  what the what?  i learned about networking, user permissions, and alsa and some stuffopenrc and runit in the config.pdf.  the dinit.pdf taught me how to look for dinit files for services and how to add them to running services or to start, stop, or restart them. AND in the troubleshooting.pdf i found a file i can create when my non xbox controller doesn't map according to xbox pattern (switches x and y keys or something).  And things like what to do after an update when my system doesn't boot.  And when my themes are off how to make them right or sometimes better-ish.  And scores of other things i might need to know.

I just gotta ask, who are you people??

That is so very thoughtful and handy and useful.  Thank you artix devs for thinking of us little peoples who knows nothing about nothing but wanna be cool and use linux like a nerdy nerd.

excuse me while i browse the new pocket protectors and bow ties on amazon.  Gooday!

i was also beautifully surprised by that on my lxqt install. this attention to detail for legitimate care to the user is what makes Artix stand out to me. :)
