Do you think anyone reading this post will figure out this issue by clairvoyance?
The lack of basic information makes it difficult if not impossible to help.

1) What Artix installation was used?
Maybe the image used has an issue.

2) Do you verify that the download was valid with either the gpg signature or checksum?
Maybe the download was corrupted.

3) What is the hardware you are booting on?
Maybe the hardware you are using needs a special kernel option to boot.

when you say "latest", could you bit more specific?  (base, cinnamon, community etc?  And the date for the .iso, also try choosing the stable .iso that will update completely after install/reboot/;update/reboot), ta.

I can't reproduce here, said ISO boots and installs fine. If the LXQt ISO works for you, you can boot off it and do a base install just as you would do with base-dinit; just open a terminal and follow the wiki, simply use the basestrap command for dinit.
Code: [Select]
basestrap /mnt base base-devel dinit elogind-dinit

Ain't Artix awesome?
