Boot loop on freshly installed Artix

Greetings to all, as a newbie I decided to migrate from my increasingly buggy Manjaro install to Artix. I did what anyone would, backed up my data and flashed a USB with Artix/KDE with runit. The system installed and ran flawlessly but I soon realized that the community version had everything I was going to install on my own and then some so I ditched it, downloaded the community qt ISO and went on to install it.

The live USB environment worked as intended so I moved to install it on my SSD, after the install I unplugged the USB and tried to boot into it. No luck. It goes up to the point where you are supposed to log into your user but then that window disappears within a split second. Then all I get is my motherboard's Asus logo with the Artix logo underneath just circling to eternity.

I tried reinstalling from the community ISO again, nope
I reinstalled Artix with runit, worked and installed just fine as before
I then tried to reinstall the community version once again, still nope

Every time I installed a new ISO from the website and I flashed/formatted the USB so I am pretty confident I haven't made any technical error on my end. I am also doubtful the computer is at fault here since it has ran Windows 7, Windows 10, Manjaro and Artix with runit without ever having problems during the install.

Sorry for the short novel, I am just trying to be as precise as I can, any input would be greatly appreciated!
