How long does AUR suspend account for "duplicates" ?

Hey everybody, I uploaded some packages to the AUR, apparently one or two out of like 6 packages looked like similar PKGBUILDs to other packages so my account was suspended & ALL of those 6 packages were taken down, but its total BS because they are NOT the same, either different options are selected by cmake, or it uses git instead of downloading a tarball, or its done in some other kind of way, long story short is that they are NOT the same PKGBUILDs at all! Does anyone know how long my account will be suspended? They claim I created duplicates & immediately suspended my account, how am I supposed to take recourse against this now that I can't even log in? I have another PKGBUILD (of a package not taken down)I wanted to update the checksum & pkgrel of, but now I cannot do that either, even from a different account...

I want to setup my own kind of AUR where people can find PKGBUILDs, or perhaps make my own software repo... I'd like to take PACAUR & make it PACKUR or something, is that possible to do? This is my first experience using the AUR & I'm already not liking it, the guy who flagged my packages is brainless & now I think the AUR is just defective trash.

I got no warning, just an immediate account suspension for so-called "duplicates", why is having different build options not make it different? Really unfair, some "trusted user" just decides "I don't like this guy" and starts destroying my work, none of my PKGBUILDs were malicious or could harm anyone's computer, they just had different build options in cmake, or used git instead of a tarball, or had patches in it for certain things, etc.. How long until I can use my account again???? This is really harming my work, now I cannot update the checksum for one of my packages so it won't build for people who don't modify the PKGBUILD... I don't want to be at the mercy of some "trusted user" who clearly is illiterate or has something aganist me.

I would suggest you have had bad timing. I fully understand that arch dvs got a bit nervous after compromised AUR packages were discovered.

You can wait for miracle or you can write them an email on mailing list and describe your situation.

You can also join the the IRC: #archlinux-aur , and ask about it. But the best way is what @SGOrava suggested.

Can you post your PKGBUILDs here (with code formatting) and link to the ones that are supposedly similar? Without that, we can't comment on who was right.
