qterminal habitually losing focus

I believe this started with an upgrade i performed towards the end of this past May, upgrading qterminal from 1.4.0-1 -> 2.0.0-1.1.  Ever since then, if i breathe too hard, the terminal loses focus.  Ok... maybe not that but, all sorts of things cause it to lose focus, one that i'm specifically aware of is just pressing the Alt key.  This upgrade has been a continual nuisance pretty much all the time.

I looked around, both in the Artix forums, and internet-wide, and could find nothing that mentioned qterminal in relation to loss of focus.  It's an annoyance i've been living with and i'm surprised no one else has been bothered by it.  I had all sorts of problem with ruby gems not working until i uninstalled all the ruby stuff and reinstalled and then, bam, it all worked perfectly.  So, maybe this is something to do just with my system being in an odd state, but i'd thought i'd ask about it.

I also use qterminal, along with the lxqt desktop environment. I've never had any problems with it...

Pls provide any logs, screenshots, and also which WM is being used.

Probably the most valuable response i'm going to get is that someone who uses qterminal (and lxqt) doesn't have my problem.  OpenBox is my window manager.  I can't think of any logs or screenshots that would show anything relevant at all.  I'll have to look at configuration files and reinstalling sometime down the road (i'm not in a position to do that now).  Thanks for the input.
