The last posting from your IP was less than 120 seconds ago. Please try again la

This seems to be a new addition and it's a bit irritating.

Firstly if I click back on the button shown on the page the text of the post is gone. Click back on the browser and it remains.
Second the 120 seconds resets so if I post after 119 seconds it's another two minute wait.

Can you change it so anyone above a certain post count, or above the 'Newbie' member level has no wait?
Without wanting to sound too self important I've arguably better things to do than wait two minutes between posts If I've come on the forum to check the new posts and there are several I want to make a short reply to.

The wait time can't be overriden per group, not even for devs and mods. It's lowered to 60 seconds, let's see how it goes.

Well I suppose If y'all devs get hit with the same irritating behaviour I can't complain further, and it's certainly not that often that a 60 second delay will affect me so thanks.

I suspect that the bots, when well scripted, have more patience than any of us though.

well, Ive seen it slow down a number of flame wars, which I think is good.
