Unable to set motherboard BIOS to UTC time, any idea how to do that?

My bios is permanently in local time because I only have lenovo laptop bios (it's for school) and not having the right time is driving me crazy. I tried using ntpd but it doesn't really do anything and I can't find the package for ntpdate. I'm in the CST time zone.

I don't think this is a issue with init system, but a time issue instead. If you're dual-booting with Windows, see https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/System_time#UTC_in_Microsoft_Windows

what did hwclock --systohc say?
