Other Arch Kernels

Would it be ok to install other kernels with artix linux like say the linux-zen kernel or would this result in major borkage?

You can install any properly packaged kernel, as you would do in Arch, however its specific binary modules would have to be taken care of by you (e.g. with dkms).
