Programming language Nim or else lags pretty far behind git

How come some Programming Language (PL) i.e. Nim lags pretty far behind git ?

it's 1.4.8
on git 1.6.4

is having it pretty close to git version too hard ?

Nim isn't packaged by Artix, it comes from Arch's community repo, you'll need to take it up with the package maintainer there. It's likely due to the fact that several arch package maintainers stepped down recently and that hasn't been sorted out fully yet.
