Are you on the Iso? or an installed system?

You can install packages even if you're in the live-iso. Firefox for example is:

Code: [Select]
sudo pacman -Syy firefox

To install a package it's pacman -S but for the first run you need to sync the repo.

Last time I tried this (2 weeks ago) from the iso, firefox and chromium both resulted in missing library errors.  Wound up having to use links

Which live-iso do you use?

I have the latest from 08. January

I might still be using an older one because I knew how to make it work if I ran into any issues.  I'll try a newer one.
