That news is indeed shocking.
I hope someone can provide me an adequate VPS to keep building and hosting.

Will this require /etc/pacman.conf to be modified at some point? I have (from following older instructions)
Code: [Select]
[omniverse]
Server = http://78.129.140.102/$arch
That IP address still seems valid, although the destination website and wiki now says use:
Code: [Select]
[omniverse]
Server = http://omniverse.artixlinux.org/$arch
rather than a numerical IP address.

I would advise you to change it to the domain name instead of the IP since now omniverse.artixlinux.org points to 209.126.11.233

As per the OP the server 78.129.140.102 will be terminated at some time (when exactly is unknown).
But that is no longer relevant as Omniverse has been moved to another server.

The pacman.conf entry needs to be changes as in https://wiki.artixlinux.org/Main/Repositories#Omniverse to be able to keep using the omniverse repo; the packages are still present on the previous server but the package database files have been removed. This to make sure users of the old address notice this and hopefully read the change on its webpage.
