Hello. Why there isn't xcompmgr in the pacman's repositories, but on arch there is https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/xcompmgr/.

Artix's repositories don't mirror exactly the ones from ArchLinux (although they try to get as close as possible).

My personal suggestion would be using picom, which is a fork-of-a-fork-of-a-fork of xcompmgr (xcompmgr -> xcompmgr-dana -> compton -> picom), it's stable and decently light on resources.

If the need of xcompmgr still persists, I'm quite sure that the Artix devs are willing to accept contributions to add such package to the repositories.

I managed to get xcompmgr from the AUR and this sort of solved my problem.

xcompmgr has been added to the world repo.
