s6-rc -d change vs s6-rc stop

I have always used `s6-rc -d/-u change SERVICE` to stop/start services, but `s6-rc -h` also mentions the `s6-rc stop/start SERVICE`.
Does anyone know if these do the same thing?  If they do, should we update the artix wiki to suggest these instead of their `-d/-u change` counterparts (easier for people to remember/use)?
