[FIXED] New Weekly Images - Cannot start the Calamares Installer 23 April 2025, 11:45:16 I tried to install the Lxqt and the KDE plasma image today but unfortunately I could not start the Calamares Installer for some reason. I clicked on the Desktop link and the launcher as well. Quote Selected Last Edit: 30 April 2025, 16:46:18 by nous
Re: New Weekly Images - Cannot start the Calamares Installer Reply #1 – 23 April 2025, 13:30:25 The weeklies are automatically built and uploaded without any testing. It's possible some Qt-related rebuild is needed, what's the error if you type 'calamares' in the terminal? Quote Selected

Re: New Weekly Images - Cannot start the Calamares Installer Reply #3 – 24 April 2025, 16:32:58 Do me a favor, from within the live ISO edit /etc/pacman.conf and uncomment [world-gremlins]. Then run as root:Code: [Select]pacman -Sy world-gremlins/calamaresIt should install calamares-3.3.14-2. Tell me if that one works. Quote Selected
Re: New Weekly Images - Cannot start the Calamares Installer Reply #4 – 25 April 2025, 20:05:44 Sorry for the late answer, lot to do. I uncommented like you said. Calamares start for a brink of a second and closes immediately. Console says: segmentation fault Quote Selected
