KDE wallet is not unlocking automatically

(openrc KDE Wayland)
So I have to enter wallet passw every session.
kwallet-pam is installed. Standard blowfish encryption is used. Wallet named as kdewallet.  KDE Wallet password is identical to my login password.
I had even removed existing wallet directory and let KDE create new one.

Anyone else having same experience?

It used to work. And as I can guess it has changed after some kde updates.

I'm sure I've had this issue in the past, and found a workaround on here or Arch forum.

I don't use KWallet and think I may have just replaced my password with [Enter] keypress?!  :-X

A terrible idea in theory but also what I do.
Someone can tell me I'm wrong but AFAIK any program (running as your user) can read any password from the wallet while it unlocked. Rendering the whole thing fairly pointless and best avoided for passwords you care about.

well I'm still having hit or miss case here. It is (again) working now after another updates. And I am not sure about upcoming software updates.
